Network IT are working with a highly respected organisation to recruit multiple Senior Engineers to join a growing Digital Services function. This is an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical digital products and platforms, developing modern software solutions within a collaborative, product-led environment.
You'll work across a modern technology stack, typically including .NET, Azure, APIs, cloud-native services, and DevOps practices, helping deliver services used at scale across the organisation.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, delivery, and support of modern software solutions. Working as part of a cross-functional product team, you will contribute to architectural decisions, champion engineering best practices, and help shape the technical direction of critical products and services. You'll combine hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, mentoring colleagues, driving quality standards, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable throughout their lifecycle. Working within a build-run-own environment, you'll help deliver and support applications from initial concept through to production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions across a range of digital products.
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, and maintainable.
- Champion engineering best practices including code quality, TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
- Mentor and support engineers within the team, providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Develop and support APIs, integrations, and cloud-based services across complex environments.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver value.
- Support operational excellence through monitoring, incident management, problem resolution, and service improvement.
