Network IT is currently hiring for a DV Cleared Network Engineer to join our client in the North West on a 3 to 6 month initial contract, supporting the delivery of a secure network project, with Cisco based network infrastructure. This role will be incredibly hands-on, so we will need your expertise and understanding of network security and compliance in high-assurance environments.
You will be responsible for deploying and configuring mostly Cisco-based network infrastructure, including but not limited to Catalyst, DNA Centre, ISE, Firewalls and Meraki.
Role: DV Cleared Network Engineer
Duration: 3-6 Months
Status: Outside IR35
Rate: £450 per day
Location: North West (Lancashire)
Working Pattern: 4 days per week onsite / 1 day remote
Key Skills:
- Deploy and configure Cisco-based infrastructure: Catalyst, DNA Centre, ISE, Firewalls
- Lead testing, validation, and secure commissioning
- Implement 802.1X, segmentation, and NAC policies
- Align technical delivery with cybersecurity frameworks
- CCNP certified, with design/build/test experience
- Must have an active DV Clearance (due to timescales clearance must be active, and transferable)
