Network IT are working with a prestigious and globally recognised organisation to recruit a QA Analyst to join their IT Services function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of critical systems and services across a large and complex digital environment, including a bespoke Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality testing solutions, ensuring all releases meet defined standards and provide an excellent user experience.
Role Overview
As a QA Analyst, you will take ownership of testing and quality assurance across multiple projects and service releases. A key part of this role will involve supporting and testing enhancements to a bespoke Dynamics 365 system, ensuring it continues to meet evolving business needs. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, identifying defects, and ensuring systems are fit for purpose before deployment. This is a hands-on role covering the full testing lifecycle, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. You will also contribute to continuous improvement in quality processes and frameworks across the organisation, working within Agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a QA Analyst, delivering end-to-end testing across projects and service releases.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and regression packs using structured methodologies.
- Conduct a full range of testing including:
- Functional
- Systems Integration
- Regression
- Load & Stress
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support testing activities related to a bespoke Microsoft Dynamics 365 system.
- Work closely with Agile delivery teams, participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Specify and develop business process test scenarios, ensuring improved user outcomes and efficiencies.
- Record, analyse, and report test results, defects, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Maintain defect registers and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Support quality management and assurance activities, including audits and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and improve testing standards, processes, and tools.
- Provide specialist QA advice across IT services and project teams.
- Assist in supplier evaluation and tender processes where required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance environments.
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent recognised testing certification) is essential.
- Proven experience working within Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
- In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Experience designing and implementing test strategies across full project lifecycles.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Understanding of quality assurance frameworks, governance, and compliance standards.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), particularly in a customised or bespoke environment.
- Exposure to test automation and defect management tools.
- Experience testing CRM or enterprise business systems.
