Network IT Recruitment is looking for an experienced Commercial Managerto provide expert commercial and procurement support across a diverse portfolio of military third parties and associates.

Youll play a key role in delivering agile, compliant procurement activity while developing and maintaining a strong supplier network.
This is a fast paced role requiring sound commercial judgement, excellent stakeholder management and the ability to manage multiple procurements simultaneously.
Youll lead end to end tender processes, provide specialist commercial advice, support contract and supplier management, and ensure procurement activity is delivered with accuracy, pace and integrity.
Please note, this role will be working in the UK Defence sector, so experience in this area is non-negotiable for us. It is an SC Cleared role.

Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £640 per day
Status: Inside IR35
Location: Surrey
Working Practice: Hybrid - 3 days onsite
Key skills and experience: Extensive experience in commercial / procurement roles, within the UK Defence sector
Strong knowledge of public sector procurement, including PCR and DSPCR
Proven experience developing tender, contract and procurement documentation
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including tender evaluation and supplier financial assessment
Experience managing supplier relationships, market development and supply chain risk
Ability to manage multiple procurements concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Strong stakeholder xgikmsk engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to advise at senior level
Experience developing sourcing strategies, commercial options and procurement plans
Strong understanding of contract change and commercial risk management
Experience using procurement / e-procurement systems, ideally Jaggaer/Bravo
Working knowledge of UK Defence operational and procurement processes
Full MCIPS Level 4 qualification, or actively working towards it
Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
