Network IT are working with a large and well-established organisation to recruit a Dynamics 365 Developer to join their Information Services team. This role centres on the design, development, customisation, and continuous enhancement of key business applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements, develop scalable solutions, and deliver innovative system enhancements that improve operational efficiency and support strategic objectives.
Role Overview
As a Dynamics 365 Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and support of the organisation's Dynamics 365 ecosystem. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, developing custom functionality, automating business processes, and ensuring applications are delivered in line with best practice and development standards.
This is a hands-on development role combining Dynamics 365 customisation, Power Platform development, systems integration, and technical support. You will also contribute to the roadmap and future evolution of the organisation's business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customise, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions to meet business requirements.
- Build and enhance Dynamics 365 functionality using C#, .NET, JavaScript, plug-ins, workflows, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Design and deliver integrations between Dynamics 365 and other business systems using APIs and Azure technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver system enhancements.
- Participate in the full development life cycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Maintain solution quality through code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and adherence to development best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience developing and customising Microsoft Dynamics 365, including solution design, configuration, custom development, and support within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Dataverse, with experience extending tables, forms, views, business processes, security models, and managed solutions.
- Hands-on development expertise using C#, .NET, JavaScript, plug-ins, custom workflow activities, Power Fx, and Web APIs to deliver robust Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Strong experience across the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI, with the ability to deliver end-to-end business applications and automation solutions.
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with internal and third-party systems using APIs, Azure services, and modern integration technologies.
- Knowledge of application life cycle management, source control, deployment processes, testing, and release management within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while following Microsoft best practice and platform governance standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience supporting and enhancing business-critical Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform certifications.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, or other Azure integration services.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based source control.
