Network IT are working with a highly respected organisation to recruit a Senior Platform Product Manager to join their Digital Services function. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development and optimisation of platform-based products, shaping services that support both internal users and end customers. You will play a key role in delivering customer-centric, data-driven products, working across the full product lifecycle and contributing to a modern digital product environment.

Role Overview

As a Senior Platform Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of complex platform products, ensuring they deliver value across multiple consuming teams. You will define and deliver a compelling product vision and roadmap, working within multidisciplinary Agile teams and collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders. This role requires a confident product leader who can balance strategy, delivery, and operational excellence, using data and user insight to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. You will also support and develop product management capability within the team while operating in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform products, from ideation through to delivery and continuous improvement
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog, using data and evidence to drive decisions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused products
  • Engage with users and stakeholders to ensure a customer-first approach and drive product adoption
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, influencing at all levels including senior leadership
  • Ensure products deliver measurable business value and user outcomes
  • Lead, coach, and support Product Managers, driving capability development
  • Oversee operational support, change management, and incident management activities
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally with platform-based products
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, serverless)
  • Experience managing API lifecycle and platform capabilities
  • Good knowledge of non-functional requirements (scalability, security, reliability, cost)
  • Experience working within Agile environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Experience using data and user insight to inform product decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous environments
