Role: Lead System Integration Specialist

Location: Milton Keynes (Flexible Hybrid)

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000

We’re seeking a Lead Systems Integration Specialist with strong experience in systems integration and technical leadership. In this strategic role, you’ll guide complex projects from concept to completion, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and services. You’ll play a key part in supporting the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring it integrates effectively with existing systems and aligns with business objectives.

You’ll shape the technical roadmap, make key architectural decisions, and champion best practices in modern engineering—covering cloud, DevOps, automation, TDD, and scalable architectures. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams: Drive performance, motivation, and delivery of high-quality integrated solutions.
• Architect technical solutions: Design and develop scalable, secure architectures that enable interoperability across complex environments.
• Oversee full development lifecycle: Ensure robust integration, configuration management, and rigorous testing practices.
• Champion DevOps and automation: Promote continuous improvement, accelerate feedback loops, and embed best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Align technical priorities with product roadmaps and communicate effectively across teams.
• Ensure security and compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols and industry standards.
• Drive innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies and integration tools to enhance system performance and scalability.

Experience Required

• Proven experience in systems integration, API design, and enterprise architecture.
• Strong technical leadership with a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Expertise in cloud services, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Skilled in data modeling, database design, and managing large-scale data flows.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, TDD, and automated testing.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
