Network IT are working with a growing and customer-focused organisation to recruit a Junior IT Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious IT Project Coordinator looking to take the next step, or an existing Junior IT Project Manager seeking broader project delivery exposure within a fast-paced technology environment.

Working alongside experienced project professionals, you will support and deliver a variety of IT projects across multiple technologies, helping to ensure successful outcomes for enterprise clients while developing your project management capabilities. This opportunity is a 12 Month Fixed-Term arrangement, please only apply if this is something you can consider.

Role Overview

As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, technical teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. This role would suit someone with strong organisation and communication skills who has experience in project coordination, project administration, or junior project management and is looking to further develop their project delivery career.

You will gain exposure to a range of technology projects, including Managed Services, Networking, Cloud, Unified Communications, and Emerging Technologies, while developing your knowledge of project methodologies and delivery best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and tracking activities
  • Coordinate project meetings, actions, RAID logs, status reports, and project documentation
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and proactively elevate risks, issues, or dependencies
  • Support Project Managers in ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate project governance and administrative controls
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project delivery function
  • Ensure a customer-focused approach is maintained throughout project lifecycles

Experience

  • Working as a Project Coordinator, Project Support Officer, PMO Analyst, or Junior Project Manager
  • Supporting the delivery of projects within an IT or technology-focused environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience coordinating multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation
  • Good understanding of project management principles and delivery methodologies
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Exposure to Managed Services, Networking, Cloud, Telecommunications, or Infrastructure projects
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
