We specialize in delivering high-acuity, person-centred care for individuals with complex medical needs, ensuring they can live safely and comfortably in familiar surroundings with round-the-clock professional support.
Role Description This is a full-time Clinical Lead role specializing in 24/7 complex care services across Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset, and Wiltshire. The Clinical Lead will be responsible for overseeing multiple complex care packages delivered in clients\β own homes, providing specialized clinical leadership, training, and support to care teams delivering high-acuity care around the clock.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee several complex care packages across the regional coverage areas
- Provide clinical on-call support and respond to urgent care queries from field teams
- Conduct supervision, competency assessments, and training for care staff
- Support delivery of safe, high-quality care by being part of the 24/7 clinical on-call team for clients with complex medical needs in their own homes
- Ensure all care is provided at outstanding standards and in full compliance with CQC regulations
- Maintain clinical governance and compliance with regulatory standards
- Lead multidisciplinary care planning and coordination
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN)
- Extensive experience in complex care management including:
- Ventilation management and respiratory care
- Tracheostomy care and management
- PEG feeding and enteral nutrition
- Catheter care and urological management
- Proven experience working with clients with:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Acquired brain injuries
- Neurological conditions (including Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington\βs Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson\βs Disease)
- Epilepsy management
- Strong clinical leadership and team management skills
- Experience in staff supervision, training, and competency assessment
- Ability to provide clinical on-call support and emergency response
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current driving license and willingness to travel across coverage areas
- Bachelor\βs degree in Nursing or equivalent healthcare qualification
Desirable Qualifications
- Post-registration qualifications in critical care, neurology, or rehabilitation
- Experience in community complex care settings
- Training and mentoring qualifications
- Clinical research experience
