Working Hours & Flexibility
The role is full or part time, Monday to Friday, with no weekend duties. The schedule is flexible to accommodate family and other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients in their own homes to conduct full clinical eye examinations.
- Dispense corrective lenses and other eye care products.
- Adopt a sympathetic and empathetic approach, especially for elderly and frail patients.
- Travel to various locations from your postal address.
- See 6–7 patients each day.
- Use portable digital fundus cameras, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer and a digital records system.
- Access full support or second opinions from the senior optometrist team at the Head Office.
