We are seeking an enthusiastic trainee to join our Leading Independent Opticians and Hearing Care Company in the Peacehaven area. Full training will be provided for candidates with a Medical/Clinical background (including Optical Assistants) and retail sales experience.
Role
- 12‑week intensive course to train how to be a Hearing Care Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Carry out hearing tests
- Repair NHS hearing aids
- Take impressions of the inside of patients’ ears
Upon completion of the core training, you will be eligible for a further course in micro‑suction ear‑wax removal. Successful completion may lead to becoming a Hearing Aid Dispenser, for which the company will sponsor a full training programme.
Travel to different venues, including medical centres and partner practices is required. A vehicle and a valid driving licence are mandatory.
