A well-established Independent Hearing Care Practice in Hull, North Yorkshire is seeking a part-time Ear Wax Removal Technician/Hearing Care Assistant. This role involves working 2 to 3 days a week and is essential in supporting the Audiologist to ensure every patient receives exceptional care. Someone experienced in both would be advantageous, however training can be provided to qualify as an Ear Wax Removal Technician so long as you are a qualified Hearing Care Assistant or even a qualified Nurse looking to do something slightly different.
Responsibilities:
- Running ear wax removal and hearing health check clinics
- Welcoming and supporting patients throughout their hearing journey
- Performing hearing aid maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Assisting with fittings and follow-up appointments
- Managing patient records and appointment scheduling
- Providing education and support on hearing aid use
- Collaborating closely with the Audiologist to ensure high-quality care

The position is part-time, with 2 required days in the week which can be flexible, from 9 AM to 5 PM (15 hours per week), and optional Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM (additional 7.5 hours per week). The salary ranges from £15.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience, with expected hours up to 22.5 per week.
