Overview
Full or Part time Optometrist, Monday to Friday – Bedford, Bedfordshire.
My Client, one of the leading domiciliary companies, is looking to recruit a full or part time Optometrist for Bedford and surrounding areas.
The role offers flexibility to work around family and other commitments.
This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekends required, and the days can be flexible.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients in their own homes to carry out a full clinical test and dispense.
- Travel to various locations from your postal address and see approximately 6–7 patients per day.
- Use the latest mobile technology, including portable digital fundus cameras, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a digital records system.
- Benefit from senior optometrist support at the Head Office for second opinions when needed.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Demonstrates a sympathetic approach and empathy, as many patients will be elderly and frail.
