Private Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser β Guildford, Surrey
A leading Optical and Hearing Domiciliary Company is looking to recruit a full-time or part-time Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser for a role within Guildford and surrounding areas.
Successful candidates must have private sector experience.
Working hours: Monday through Friday. Part-time roles will be a minimum of 3 days per week with no weekend shifts required; flexible days are available.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients in their own homes to test hearing difficulties
- Determine if patients can benefit from amplified sound
- Deliver, fit, and adjust hearing aids
- Carry out aftercare home visits
Requirements
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Private sector experience as an audiologist or hearing aid dispenser
- Sympathetic approach with empathy for elderly patients
- Confident driver with willingness to travel for home visits
