Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for building services (lighting, power distribution, fire detection, HVAC integration, etc.).
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and compliance checks with UK regulations and standards.
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation.
Oversee installations, testing, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with the IET or equivalent.
Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc or higher).
Proven experience in building services engineering within the UK.
Strong knowledge of BS standards, UK Building Regulations, and relevant codes of practice.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
