Network are offering the opportunity to join an established counselling service that has been supporting the people of Bristol and surrounding areas for over 30 years. Clients are offered 24 weeks of low-cost counselling in person at our counselling rooms in Filton or online. All clients are assessed prior to allocation to counsellors. We have a good supply of clients and are encouraging applications from trainee counsellors. This is on a voluntary basis, with flexible hours.

If you are currently studying a Level 4 course, we ask that you have already completed 20 hours of working with real clients, most likely in another placement. This requirement is not met by classroom time or practicing with fellow students. We are happy to take on trainees studying level 5 and above as a first placement.

Network counsellors must work relationally with clients and agree to work within our ethos and values statement. We have a particular need for counsellors able to work evenings. We are especially interested in hearing from you if you belong to an underrepresented group.

Please email your completed application form to reception@network.org.uk – and if you have any questions or wish to discuss the role, don’t hesitate to get in touch by email or calling 0117 950 7271. We will be looking at applications as they come in on a rolling basis; so there is no deadline but we recommend getting your application in as soon as you are able.
