Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage large-scale residential projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring a seamless design process.
  • Oversee and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to junior designers.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and contractors.
  • Contribute to innovative and creative solutions for project challenges.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in high-end residential design, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects such as manor houses. Must have historical building experience.
  • Expertise in design software such as Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign, Excel, and SketchUp. Strong hand-sketching abilities are a plus.
  • Proficient in design project management, including guiding teams and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Ability to clearly communicate design concepts, whether through hand-drawn sketches or digital presentations.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • Creative, solution-driven approach, with a strong passion for design excellence.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and open to travel as required.
