We are excited to partner with our client in search of a highly talented and innovative Senior Interior Designer to join their growing team. This studio's mission is to craft distinctive, eclectic interiors that align with the client’s vision while reflecting the architecture and surroundings. Over the years, their award-nominated work with private clients and the hospitality sector has earned recognition in the industry.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual with deep expertise in luxury residential design, strong leadership qualities, and excellent project management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, a proven ability to juggle multiple projects, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage large-scale residential projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring a seamless design process.
- Oversee and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to junior designers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and contractors.
- Contribute to innovative and creative solutions for project challenges.
- 7+ years of experience in high-end residential design, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects such as manor houses. Must have historical building experience.
- Expertise in design software such as Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign, Excel, and SketchUp. Strong hand-sketching abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in design project management, including guiding teams and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Ability to clearly communicate design concepts, whether through hand-drawn sketches or digital presentations.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Creative, solution-driven approach, with a strong passion for design excellence.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and open to travel as required.
