About the Role
Our client, an internationally recognised London-based interior design studio, is looking for a Midweight Interior Designer to join its growing team. Renowned for award-winning work across luxury hospitality sectors, including restaurants, hotels, and private members’ clubs, the studio is known for its refined, timeless approach and boutique-style service.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring around 3–5 years of experience working on high-end hospitality interiors, with a strong eye for design, materials, craftsmanship, and detailing. You will be comfortable supporting projects from concept through to completion, collaborating closely with senior designers while contributing creative ideas and technical expertise throughout each phase.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of design concepts and space planning strategies.
- Take ownership of FF&E packages, including sourcing materials, selecting furniture, preparing specifications, and coordinating with suppliers.
- Produce tender and construction drawing packages.
- Create presentations and mood boards.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and external suppliers during both design and delivery stages.
- Help mentor junior team members and play an active role in maintaining a positive and collaborative studio environment.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of materials, finishes, fabrication methods, and construction detailing.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work proactively within a fast-paced design studio.
