MEP BIM Manager (Building Services)

We are working with an award-winning architecture and design studio with offices in London & the gulf who are seeking an experienced MEP BIM Manager to lead the strategic development and implementation of BIM Building Services across the practice. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards while driving innovation in digital design and information management.

You’ll contribute to some of the most innovative and inspiring buildings worldwide, with current and recent projects including office, heritage, science and industry developments, including residential and healthcare facilities.

In this role you will fulfil a key role in the delivery of projects, including the planning and production of models, drawings, and data while supervising and supporting team members and collaborating with colleagues across disciplines.

You will be the focal point for collaborative BIM delivery, developing coordination strategies, managing coordination with other disciplines and stakeholders, while encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

• Solid knowledge of Autodesk Revit, including model setup, modelling, drawing production and family management.
• Have a strong background in MEP building services systems and coordination, across a range of project sectors and stages.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the principles, processes and standards required to produce high-quality models and drawings.
• Have experience of managing and supporting others through guidance, training, and constructive feedback.

This hybrid role offers excellent career progression that would require willingness to travel to The Gulf and India occasionally mainly visiting our clients regional offices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the practice-wide BIM strategy and implementation
• Act as the primary BIM expert, providing guidance and technical support to project teams
• Deliver BIM and Revit training to staff at all levels
• Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, procedures, and quality control processes
• Support project teams with BIM execution planning and project-specific delivery strategies
• Manage and develop Revit workflows, family libraries, and associated digital tools
• Coordinate information exchange with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders
• Monitor industry developments and promote innovation across the practice

Requirements:

• Experience in a BIM management or senior BIM coordination role
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and information management processes
• Experience managing large-scale federated Revit models
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 Parts 1 and 2
• Understanding of COBie and Uniclass 2015
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to develop and implement office-wide BIM strategies
• RIBA Part 1 or 2 qualification, or equivalent, preferred
