On behalf of our client, an exciting challenger brand within the UK leisure sector, we are currently seeking a strong Midweight Interior Designer to join the team at a particularly exciting stage of growth. The business creates destination-led leisure venues that bring together hospitality, cinema, and entertainment under one roof, offering guests a unique experience. With a strong emphasis on quality across every aspect of the customer and employee journey, this brand has built a reputation for delivering engaging and memorable experiences.
This role will involve leading interior design projects with support and collaboration from the team lead, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work on innovative hospitality and leisure environments from concept through to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience within interior design, with a strong background in hospitality or leisure projects.
Applicants should be confident developing creative concepts, producing high-quality presentations and visualisations, and bringing ideas to life through 3D design. Experience managing projects on-site and ensuring quality throughout the delivery process is also essential. Candidates should be highly creative, passionate about design, and possess excellent communication skills. Strong technical ability is required, including proficiency in Vectorworks and excellent SketchUp skills. A sound understanding of building regulations and restrictions would also be beneficial.
Key responsibilities within the role will include:
- Developing concepts and mood boards
- Researching and specifying materials and finishes
- Creating client presentations including renderings and elevations
- Supporting the production of technical documentation such as plans, details, specifications, and material boards
