We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a growing, independent brand experience business creating exhibition stands, events and physical experiences for some of the world’s biggest brands. This is not a role where you’ll be selling the same outsourced exhibition package as everyone else.

The business combines strategy, creative, project management and production under one roof, with its own Greater London workshop, build team, warehouse and modular exhibition stock. This gives clients greater control over quality, cost and delivery, while allowing the team to create more sustainable, reusable alternatives to the single-use stands that still dominate the industry.

You’ll have a genuinely strong story to take to market, supported by an impressive portfolio of international work and proprietary technology that helps brands understand both the financial and environmental cost of their existing exhibition stands.

The role is focused on opening doors, building relationships and turning conversations into long-term client partnerships. You’ll identify opportunities across exhibitions, trade shows, events and brand experiences, approaching brands with a commercially compelling alternative to the traditional agency model.

You’ll be joining a profitable, owner-led business with an annual turnover of around £5 million and clear plans for growth. There are no unnecessary layers or slow internal processes. You’ll work directly with the owner, have the freedom to shape your territory and be trusted to get on with the job.

You’ll bring experience in new business or business development, ideally gained within exhibitions, events, experiential, brand experience or a related creative industry. More importantly, you’ll be confident starting conversations, developing senior relationships and selling an idea rather than simply responding to briefs.

In return, you’ll receive:

  • An open territory with plenty of room to make your mark
  • Uncapped commission on everything you bring into the business
  • Direct access to the owner and fast commercial decisions
  • Genuine autonomy over how you develop your market
  • UK and international travel
  • A strong creative, production and sustainability proposition to sell
  • The opportunity to become a key part of an ambitious growing business

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants more ownership, fewer restrictions and a product they can genuinely feel confident putting in front of major brands.
