We’re looking for an experienced Digital Design Director to lead creative thinking across a broad mix of digital, brand, retail and experience-led projects. You’ll be joining a highly creative agency where digital sits alongside wider brand and physical experiences, giving you the opportunity to shape ambitious, joined-up work across multiple platforms and touchpoints.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who can set the creative direction, inspire multidisciplinary teams and ensure the quality of the work remains consistently high from initial concept through to final delivery. You’ll lead projects from the front, working closely with strategy, client services, developers and production teams to turn complex briefs into clear, compelling and beautifully crafted creative solutions.

A key part of the role will be leading and developing the wider design team. You’ll mentor senior, midweight and junior designers, provide constructive creative direction and help build a collaborative environment where strong ideas and high standards can thrive. You’ll also be confident presenting to senior clients, leading workshops and pitches, challenging thinking where needed and building trusted relationships throughout the creative process.

The role will include:

  • Leading and inspiring multidisciplinary design teams
  • Setting the creative direction across digital, brand and experience-led projects
  • Reviewing work and maintaining a consistently high level of craft
  • Mentoring and developing designers at different levels
  • Translating strategy and insight into strong creative ideas
  • Leading senior client presentations, workshops and pitches
  • Working closely with UX, UI, development, strategy and production teams
  • Overseeing multiple projects while protecting the quality of the work
  • Helping shape the agency’s creative culture and future direction

You’ll need a strong portfolio showing exceptional creative thinking across digital platforms and wider brand experiences, alongside proven experience leading teams and delivering complex projects. Strong knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Miro is important, together with a solid understanding of UX, UI, responsive design and designing for screens. A great opportunity for a Design Director who wants genuine influence, creative ownership and the chance to lead ambitious work within a genuinely ideas-led agency.
