Location: This post will be located on site at one of the following locations: Magherafelt, Newtownards, Dungannon, Mallusk, Enniskillen, Coleraine.

Overview: As part of our continued growth & expansion we are currently recruiting for a Parts Sales Advisor to play a key role in our business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising customers what parts they might need for their vehicle
  • Taking orders primarily over the phone or by email, but also occasionally in person
  • Building long-term relationships with local customers
  • Become an essential, trusted part of your customers' business
  • Checking availability of parts on computerised stock records
  • Ordering of parts from suppliers
  • Picking parts from warehouse
  • Putting orders together
  • Sending orders by courier
  • Dealing with payments
  • Raising invoices and issuing receipts
  • Maintaining shelf displays
  • Ordering supplies, putting stock away and updating stock levels
  • Actively promote offers and discounts
  • Limit credits and returns by sending the right parts, first time
  • Relief / occasional van driving duties as and when required

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have experience and technical knowledge within a motor factors sales or automotive parts environment
  • Be commercially aware of industry standards
  • Have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer focus to build upon our customer base
  • Be competent across Microsoft packages
  • Ability to plan workload and use own initiative

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of MAM software
