What you’ll do
The Manager, Artist Growth Marketing is responsible for driving the strategic development, execution, and management of innovative global marketing campaigns for a roster of artists. This role focuses on building long‑term marketing strategies to grow fan engagement, expand audiences, and achieve successful product releases. The Manager will work collaboratively with A&R, Artist Management, Publicity, Advertising and other key teams to align creative and commercial goals. As a key contributor to global campaigns, the Manager will oversee all marketing touch points—digital, social, and traditional—ensuring alignment with overarching objectives. This role demands a strong background in digital marketing, analytics, and audience engagement, with the ability to manage campaigns across time zones and markets effectively.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive global marketing campaigns that integrate digital, social media, influencer marketing, and traditional strategies tailored to each artist and release.
- Develop audience‑led social media strategies to foster fanbase growth and engagement, leveraging insights, trends, and best practices.
- Execute tone of voice, content, and branding for each artist, ensuring campaigns reflect the artist's vision and creative direction.
- Collaborate with international territory leads to localise and optimise marketing strategies for key markets.
- Act as the central communication hub between artists, managers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans.
Artist Growth Marketing
- Lead strategies to expand artist fanbases and strengthen audience connections through targeted digital advertising, content creation, and social media marketing.
- Utilise advanced audience insights and performance data to adapt campaigns, identify growth opportunities, and maximise engagement.
- Foster partnerships with external influencers, brands, and platforms to amplify artist reach and create meaningful fan interactions.
- Stay on top of emerging platforms and trends, integrating them into campaigns to maintain a competitive edge.
Data Analysis And Reporting
- Monitor campaign performance and audience engagement metrics, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Optimise digital marketing spend based on data‑driven results to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Generate regular reports on campaign milestones, audience growth, and ROI, keeping management and artist teams informed on progress and outcomes.
Collaboration/Teamwork
The Manager, Artist Growth Marketing will be part of a UK‑based team that works with Nettwerk's international teams; the successful candidate will be positive and willing to contribute to and collaborate domestically and internationally. Represent artist projects in domestic and international meetings, advocating for global alignment and consistency in marketing efforts. Work closely with international teams across multiple time zones, contributing to cohesive global marketing strategies. Proactively address challenges and roadblocks in campaigns, collaborating with internal staff to develop solutions.
Role Requirements
- 2‑3 years of music marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on digital and social media marketing.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Passion for music, pop culture, and emerging marketing trends.
- Proven ability to develop innovative, audience‑driven marketing strategies that yield measurable results.
- Extensive experience with social media platforms, streaming services, and audience analytics tools.
