The Product Manager for Managed Security Services plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our MSS portfolio. Reporting into the Head of Managed Security Solutions, this role combines strategic foresight, technical credibility, and commercial understanding to drive the identification, evaluation, and launch of new products and services.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Head of Managed Security Solutions to shape vendor relationships, develop the product roadmap, support go-to-market activity, and deliver internal enablement. With a strong background in MSSP environments and hands-on knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, and EDR technologies, this individual will bridge technical depth with customer-centric thinking.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is as comfortable presenting to exec stakeholders as they are evaluating a product’s detection capability or developing internal training sessions. Above all, this person must be passionate about building services that solve real-world security challenges and deliver clear, managed outcomes—not just tools.
Key Role Responsibilitise
- Support the definition and evolution of the MSS product roadmap in collaboration with leadership.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing relationships with key technology vendors (e.g., SIEM, EDR, SOAR platforms).
- Contribute to vendor evaluations, product reviews, and proof-of-concept activities.
Market Insight & Opportunity Development
- Monitor the threat landscape, MSSP market trends, and competitive positioning to identify opportunities.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to capture requirements and unmet needs.
- Help shape ideas into viable service offerings with clear value propositions.
Go-to-Market & Enablement
- Collaborate with marketing and presales teams to define messaging and positioning for new services.
- Develop and deliver training programmes for sales, engineering, and client teams.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and collateral that supports go-to-market success.
- Work with engineering and delivery teams to ensure new services are scalable and supportable.
- Feed client and market insights into service refinement and roadmap planning.
- Promote continuous service improvement by identifying innovation opportunities and areas for optimisation.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications
- Experience in a product management, solution development, or proposition role within a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP).
- Hands-on familiarity with technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, CrowdStrike Falcon, and leading Cyber vendors.
- Understanding of MSSP delivery models and how to translate tooling into managed service value.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—able to bridge technical and commercial conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to create structured training and enablement content.
