ERM, the world\’s largest pure play sustainability consultancy, is seeking an EIA professional at either Senior or Managing Consultant level (depending on skills and experience) to join our talented, rapidly growing team, based from either our Cardiff or Pembroke offices – supporting our journey to Net Zero. Working on a variety of projects in the Energy sector, you’ll support high-quality environmental consultancy services to internal and external clients. You’ll contribute to surveys and technical report writing, assist in the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments and associated studies, and support environmental inputs for planning applications ranging from screening and scoping to environmental appraisals and large-scale EIA projects, as well as post-planning condition discharge. You will build strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction through project communication, engagement, and programme delivery. Why join ERM? About you You’ll be degree qualified in an environmental discipline and have experience working in either a consulting, regulatory, or industry environment. You’ll possess a comprehensive understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and have experience drafting screening and scoping reports, technical reports, and EIA chapters. You’ll be familiar with and have had some exposure to the DNS process (Development of National Significance). You’ll be an enthusiastic professional who has achieved chartered status (i.e. IEMA) or has a desire to work towards this. You must be based in Wales or be willing to fully relocate.
