About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with active DV clearance to join our dynamic team at Experis. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable digital solutions tailored for Defence and Security clients. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of secure, high-quality applications that support mission-critical operations. The position offers a hybrid work environment based in London, Bristol, or Manchester, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will help organizations leverage modern technologies, cloud platforms, and emerging innovations to enhance operational outcomes and security measures.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full stack development, with proven experience in delivering secure applications within regulated or sensitive environments. Essential qualifications include proficiency in modern front-end and back-end technologies, programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or Node.js, and experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application deployment. A solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies, is required. Active DV clearance is mandatory for this role, ensuring the candidate can work securely within sensitive domains.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain comprehensive full stack applications, ensuring seamless integration across front-end and back-end components.
- Create secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications and services tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects, and delivery teams to develop user-centered solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications to enhance system functionality and performance.
- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, and technology selection to ensure optimal performance and security standards.
- Implement and promote software engineering best practices, including conducting code reviews, automated testing, and managing version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application performance, security, and operational issues promptly.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
