We are actively seeking multiple Senior .Net Developers to join our client, a prominent financial services organization based in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term, business-critical data-oriented project that involves complex data processing and analytics. The successful candidates will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications that handle large volumes of data. This position requires a strong technical background in C# .Net development, extensive SQL expertise, and experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. The role is based in London with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in C# .Net development, particularly in data-heavy projects.
• Proven expertise in SQL development, including database modeling, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of application programming for data-intensive applications on SQL Server, utilizing stored procedures and tSQL.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, to deploy and manage applications.
• Solid understanding of database architecture and data management best practices.
• Good knowledge of AI technologies is desirable but not essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable .Net applications tailored for data-intensive processing.
• Writing efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Developing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support high-volume data operations.
• Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other developers to implement AI-driven solutions where applicable.
• Ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of the applications and databases.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Working closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time.
• Supporting deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
