We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Developer to join our expanding team at BMC Recruitment Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing company where your contributions will directly impact our product development and client solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Angular (version 18+) and TypeScript, with a keen interest in utilizing the latest web development technologies. You will collaborate closely with a senior .NET developer and other team members to build robust, scalable, and innovative web applications. The role offers a unique chance to work on cutting-edge projects, including AI integration, and to influence the future direction of our technology stack. Flexibility is available with 1-2 days a week in our central Newcastle office, promoting a healthy work-life balance while fostering team collaboration.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in frontend development, with expertise in Angular (preferably version 18+), Typescript, and SQL Server. Experience with React Native or mobile development is desirable, as is an interest in artificial intelligence and its application in software development. Strong understanding of unit testing and integration testing frameworks is essential to ensure high-quality code. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for learning new technologies. A relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with previous experience in similar roles.

As a Frontend Developer at BMC Recruitment Group, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the latest Angular frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration with backend services. Conducting unit and integration testing to guarantee application stability and performance will be a key part of your role. You will also contribute innovative ideas, particularly in the area of AI, to enhance our products and services. Working alongside a senior .NET developer, you will ensure the front-end aligns with the overall architecture and business objectives. Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging trends in web development and proactively suggest improvements to our development processes and technologies.

The role is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £65,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
