About The Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join YT Technologies' dynamic team in Bristol. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and enhancing the company's frontend ecosystem, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric applications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware engineers, data scientists, and UX designers, to translate complex requirements into seamless, intuitive interfaces. Qualifications
- Proven commercial experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with a portfolio of successful projects.
- Ability to build applications that efficiently consume REST APIs, with a solid understanding of frontend performance optimization and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Disciplined approach to engineering practices, including rigorous code quality, thorough documentation, and effective version control using Git, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with Azure cloud services, data visualization libraries such as D3 or Highcharts, and a basic understanding of Python backend services.
Responsibilities
- Implementation: Translate high-fidelity UX wireframes into polished, production-ready React applications that meet design specifications and performance standards.
- Systems Thinking: Design and develop reusable, modular components that seamlessly integrate with a centralized design system, ensuring consistency across the platform.
