About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Functional Designer to join our long-term programme focused on cutting-edge test rig development in Bristol. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design and development of advanced electrical systems that are critical to aerospace testing and validation processes. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead the electrical design efforts for sophisticated test rigs, ensuring that systems meet stringent technical standards and client specifications. Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering with proven experience in system design and development.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical systems powering advanced aerospace test rigs, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Interpret client methodologies, standards, and supplier data to develop robust electrical circuitry and system definitions.
- Create detailed electrical designs that accommodate voltage variations, component-specific needs, and complex system behaviors.
- Produce high-quality 2D electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams, principles, parts lists, and installation schematics using AutoCAD.
- Manage interfaces between electrical systems, test structures, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing and installation processes to develop practical, manufacturable electrical designs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and clients to interpret technical data, resolve design challenges, and ensure project requirements are met.
