Reporting to: Network Deployment Manager

Salary: £35,000

Employment type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration of passive and active equipment in Netomnia POP sites
  • Responsibility for cablelink orders and delivery
  • Ongoing maintenance of active and passive network equipment
  • Install, repair and upgrade network devices and deliver onsite support
  • Active network faults will also fall within your responsibility.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to complete projects on time and on budget
  • Splice and test fibre optic cables inside Optical Distribution Frames (ODFs)
  • Maintain detailed records of each commissioned POP site
  • Produce documentation and contribute towards standard operating procedures

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Understanding of FTTH network deployments, particularly PON networks
  • Project delivery experience
  • Basic understanding of computer networking
  • Knowledge of DC power systems is desirable
