Job Description:
Installation Engineer reporting to Installations Field Manager. Hours: Full time, Monday to Saturday, 45hrs a week, 7.30am-5.30pm. 1 Saturday Per Month Paid as Overtime.
Salary: Competitive starting salary ranging from £30,100 to £34,000, with a target bonus of 20% of salary and extra pay for one additional Saturday per month.

Job Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Field Manager, the Installation Engineer will install fibre connections into customer premises while maintaining outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily work on customer installations.
- Install into customer premises, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Manage assigned tools and vehicle.
- Complete tasks on time and manage day-to-day jobs.
- Maintain H&S compliance.
- Work individually and as part of a team to achieve targets and KPIs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Experience working in a similar role, working on or on behalf of the Openreach Network.
- Ability to conduct risk assessment and hazard identification, with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety practices.
- Demonstrable experience working in a networking engineering environment (preferred).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Clear and concise communication abilities.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
- Ability to foster excellent working relationships within the team, with the manager, and with other teams within the company, with an excellent customer service attitude.
- A proactive approach to improving efficiencies and working smarter.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license for a minimum of 12 months.
- SA001, SA002, S7, S8 or equivalent (desirable).
- IPAF 1b (desirable).
- NRSWA unit 2 (minimum) (desirable).
- SMART AWARDS (preferable desirable).
- Telecommunications experience or transferable skills.
