Netomnia is in the process of bringing forgotten parts of the UK into the digital revolution, providing some of the fastest broadband speeds the UK has ever seen. We have invested £1.3 billion to build to over 2.2 million homes and counting.
We are looking for individuals who share our passion for fast, affordable full fibre broadband and those who would like to join us in our mission of keeping communities engaged; ensuring residents are fully aware of what we are doing and highlighting the benefits as we install our network in their local areas.
About the Role:
You will be Netomnia’s first contact with residents in our network build areas. It will be your job to go door-to-door, following our network build program, and to inform residents about what they can expect in their area over the coming months and provide them with more information about our ultrafast fibre network. You will also gather information about the community, including their current usage, the providers they use, average costs, and identify whether our network could be of benefit to them when we have finished our network build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage confidently with residents at their doorstep and occasionally at local pop-up events.
- Follow our build program to ensure all residents in your local and surrounding areas are aware of our build rollout.
- Capture resident contact details to keep them updated and encourage them to join our network once our works are complete.
- This is a field-based role, so you will need to be able to drive and ideally have good knowledge of the area.
- Work towards weekly and monthly team conversation and conversion targets.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Must have a full UK driving licence.
- Enjoy conversations with new people.
- Ideally some experience in sales/lead generation/customer service/field sales/telesales, but this is not essential as full training is provided.
- Good knowledge of your local areas.
- Enthusiasm, motivation, and a good work ethic are essential.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
This role would be ideal for anyone wanting to get into Sales or gain more confidence!
Why our people love working with us:
- Equity – yes, a real part of the company!
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday!
- Pension scheme that matches your contribution up to 8%.
- £50 phone allowance or company-issued phone.
- Health care cash plan.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Employee assistance programme.
- PPE and uniform provided.
- IT equipment provided.
- Discounted gym memberships and retail offers from recognisable brands.
- Company events.
- Travel expenses paid.
- Free YouFibre broadband if you are within our area, plus friends & family discount.
- Life assurance giving you cover of 4 times your basic salary.
- Colleague referral scheme of £500.
- Continuous development and long-term career prospects.
