We are looking for a driven, personable and self-starter who can join our Business Development team. This role is targeted specifically at someone who is either new to a commercial role, or is keen to get into a technical solution sales environment. The role itself will be focussed on both supporting and working alongside the existing established commercial team, as well as being able to self-generate a pipeline of prospective opportunities. We hope to get someone in who can showcase a real hunger and drive for success, demonstrated by their results, and can then be quickly progressed to a more senior role in the business.

Some specifics of the role

  • You’ll be responsible for creating new business sales opportunities, that once qualified, will be progressed in collaboration with other commercial team members
  • Building brilliant prospect lists to ensure your pipeline is sustainable and your agreed revenue targets are achieved and exceeded
  • Bringing together 3rd parties to execute and propose the right solutions
  • Giving the brand name maximum exposure at networking events
  • Building strong relationships with appropriate potential and existing customers
  • Committing to delivering innovative sales performance and achieving personal targets for new business and customer retention
  • Working with, and supporting the Business Development team in progressing key commercial opportunities

Hours: 40 hours per week
