About You

We’re a small and friendly team so this role will suit someone who is driven and wants to get stuck in and turn their hand to any technical problem. It can be a fast-paced environment so having the ability to multi-task is essential. A large part of the role is providing exceptional customer service so great interpersonal skills are needed.

Role Overview

As a 2nd Line IT Technician, you will be providing remote and onsite IT support to our customers across the South West. You will work with clients at all levels of seniority so having the ability to translate technical terms for non-technical individuals will be important. No two days will be the same as you’ll be working with and administering many different technologies including the Microsoft 365 suite, Windows servers, Windows desktops, networking equipment, WiFi installations, phone systems, CCTV and more.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a technical support role. MSP experience advantageous
  • Microsoft 365 administration and knowledge of the 365 Business licensing
  • Microsoft Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPOs, Entra Sync)
  • Windows 10/11 support
  • Understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VLANs, WiFi, VPN)
  • Experience creating Intune Configuration Profiles/Conditional Access Policies/App Protection Policies would be advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of phone systems, particularly 3CX would be of benefit
  • Full UK driving license
