Purpose of Position
The VP of Aircraft Management Sales is responsible for the commercial strategy for the assigned territories. The role will have input on commercial decisions and marketing insights, and will be responsible for business development and Owner retention.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Key leader in identification and development of new product offerings, ensuring that they meet the needs of current and potential customers, that are both competitive within the marketplace and meeting profitability targets;
- Lead the generation of new aircraft management business revenue and growth;
- Generate prospect proposals for both new and existing aircraft owners;
- Lead strategic targeting efforts of new corporate verticals, segmenting research and joining field meetings with new prospects;
- Drive improved win rates and increased Owner retention through closing assistance, process improvement, and identification of threats to capture and retention rates within the Sales organisation;
- Ensure effective collaboration with field sales colleagues in the development of high-quality, analytically rigorous sales;
- Lead the commercial support ensuring the optimal structure of customer contracts in order to win new accounts, agree renewals, and maximising the levels of customer retention;
- Lead the deal decision process for the sales team;
- Design and implement new systems, processes, and structures to improve efficiency;
- Other duties can be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
- Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration or related field;
- 10 + years’ work-related experience in business aviation;
- Ability to work autonomously Demonstrate experience in a direct sales role;
- Demonstrate leadership, management and organisational skills;
- Knowledge of SalesForce.com and all other IT systems is imperative;
- Proven experience in acquiring UHNW clients in the private aviation industry;
- Fluency in Business English (written and verbal) and other European languages preferred.
