Mangopay is a wallet-based payment infrastructure built specifically for organisations with complex, multi-party fund flows. A pioneer in multi-party payments. Our solution optimises fund flows on behalf of the organisations we work with using wallets as programmable, composable building blocks. Mangopay’s regulated platform collects payments, secures transactions and holds funds, splits money between the various parties in the funds flow, and ultimately manages the payout to service providers, sellers, and consumers. Platforms and fintechs using Mangopay regain control and transparency over multi‑party payment flows, generate additional revenue, and improve operational efficiency. They can stay compliant while innovating and scaling. Our team of 300+ people is spread across offices in Madrid, Paris, Warsaw, Berlin, Luxembourg and London. We’re looking for talented individuals to join us in tackling the exciting challenges ahead. At Mangopay, you’ll be part of a supportive, diverse team committed to building scalable solutions and driving change in the fintech space!
As Senior Solution Engineer, you lead the coordination and execution of onboarding initiatives for strategic platforms globally, driving efficient launches and accelerated time‑to‑revenue. You ensure that all internal workstreams (Account Ownership, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operations) are aligned, accountable, and completed before go‑live. You provide structured oversight and visibility across onboarding readiness criteria to ensure platforms, whether newly onboarded or expanding into new markets, go live efficiently, compliantly, and without operational risk. This role sits at the intersection of Revenue, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operations, ensuring predictable launches, optimizing time‑to‑market, and enabling scalable platform onboarding across regions.
What You’ll Do
- Solutioning Participation & Advisory: Participate in discussions with platform project owners and technical stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions align with platform capabilities and implementation realities. Provide technical and operational input to support scalable and compliant implementations. Identify potential technical, operational, or regulatory risks early and ensure a smooth transition from solutioning to onboarding and implementation.
- Onboarding Orchestration: Act as the central coordination point for platform onboarding and expansion initiatives. Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Operations to ensure successful platform launches. Maintain visibility across technical integration, regulatory validation, operational setup, and partner readiness. Track onboarding milestones and proactively manage cross-functional dependencies. Identify risks, gaps, or blockers early and drive resolution with the relevant stakeholders.
- Integration & Technical Readiness: Work directly with partner engineering teams to support technical onboarding and platform integration. Ensure integration architecture and implementation align with platform capabilities and best practices. Review integration progress and validate technical readiness prior to launch. Identify technical constraints or risks early and coordinate with Product and Engineering teams when needed.
- Go‑Live Readiness: Establish and manage structured go‑live readiness checklists. Validate that all required approvals (compliance validation, operational controls, and technical readiness) are completed prior to activation. Ensure operational processes are defined before launch.
- Transition to Run Phase: Ensure structured handover to Support and Operations teams with full documentation and context. Confirm that platform teams understand operational processes, support channels, and escalation paths. Monitor early‑life platform performance to mitigate post‑launch instability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify onboarding and expansion friction points and drive cross‑functional process improvements. Improve onboarding documentation and enablement materials. Define and monitor key onboarding KPIs such as: time‑to‑revenue, onboarding cycle times, go‑live predictability, post‑launch satisfaction and performance. Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to anticipate operational impacts from roadmap or regulatory changes.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of experience in onboarding, implementation management, program management within a PSP, Fintech, or regulated SaaS environment.
- Proven experience coordinating complex, cross‑functional launches involving Sales, Compliance, Technical, Product, and Support teams.
- Strong understanding of payment operations and regulatory workflows (KYC/KYB, safeguarding, go‑live controls).
- Comfortable owning timelines, driving accountability across teams, and managing launch readiness decisions.
- Data‑oriented, with experience tracking KPIs such as time‑to‑revenue, phase cycle times, and post‑launch CSAT.
- Clear communicator able to align operational teams and senior stakeholders around priorities and risk mitigation.
- Structured and pragmatic, with the ability to balance speed, compliance, and operational risk.
