As a Junior Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for developing embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems and designing graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for embedded platforms. Your work will span from writing efficient Embedded C code to developing intuitive and responsive UIs that interact with the hardware. You will play a pivotal role in co-developing the embedded software that drives our cutting-edge palm vein recognition technology, from prototyping through to mass production, while ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance.
- Optimize code for performance and memory constraints typical in embedded environments.
- Integrate embedded systems with cloud services or remote devices, if applicable.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure firmware and UI functionality.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues using debugging tools.
- Document design, code, and testing processes to ensure clear communication within the team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming for microcontroller platforms.
