Nether Stowe School is seeking to appoint a highly organised and detail‑focused Data and Exams Manager to lead and manage the school's student data systems and examinations processes. This is a key role within the school, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effective use of data to support school improvement, alongside the smooth running of all internal and external examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration and management of all internal and external examinations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and awarding body requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for examination boards and ensure all entries, amendments, and results processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage the school's Management Information System (MIS), maintaining accurate student data and ensuring data integrity across all systems.
- Produce and analyse data reports to support senior leaders, middle leaders and advocates in monitoring student progress and outcomes.
- Coordinate assessment data collection cycles and support staff with data input and analysis.
- Manage the secure handling of examination materials and ensure all procedures meet JCQ regulations.
- Organise and supervise invigilation arrangements, including the recruitment and coordination of invigilators where required.
- Support the leadership team with statutory returns, performance data, and reporting requirements.
