Senior Recruiter, Content EMEA (FTC - 12 Month Parental leave coverage)
Netflix is seeking a Senior Recruiter who excels at building strong partnerships and is passionate about assembling high-performing creative teams that drive Netflix’s growth, success, and innovation. The ideal candidate is adaptable, flexible, and brings deep expertise in the Media and Entertainment industry — specifically recruiting Creative Executives and Commissioners across Scripted, Film, and Nonfiction content. You’ll have a proven track record of hiring at the senior and executive levels, while also supporting recruitment needs across a range of roles.
As a Talent Acquisition team, we focus on finding great talent, anticipating business needs, and coaching our hiring partners to hire successfully. We don’t solely focus on metrics to determine success. Instead, we also look at the qualitative impact in the form of coaching moments, successful long-term hires, and driving a forward-thinking streamlined recruiting process. We look for people who push the status quo and enjoy spending their time finding creative ways to source and attract talent. Our culture empowers people to think outside of the box, breaking the standard “recruiting process mold”. You will be empowered to be innovative when you think a process is inefficient and you’ll have peers who do the same.
The Role
Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition - Content, Ads & Marketing EMEA, you will:
- Meet end-to-end recruiting fulfillment demand across our Content teams in EMEA.
- Build excellent working relationships with the business, stakeholders, and candidates to ensure we are an employer brand of choice in the region.
- Engage and hire top talent, leveraging data and market insights to influence the recruiting strategy.
- Emphasize the value of inclusive hiring processes and building diverse teams.
- Identify talent, evaluate their technical skill set, and match it to opportunities within Netflix.
- Be comfortable sourcing talent outside of traditional talent pools and building connections with candidates proactively to ensure you always have a solid, live network.
- Ensure that candidate motivations, interests, and values align with our unique company culture.
- Work directly with hiring managers, HRBPs, researchers, and coordinators throughout the recruiting life-cycle.
- Partner cross-functionally with our Inclusion Recruiting Programs partner, Talent Operations, Talent Intelligence, Compensation, Tax, Legal, Workplace, and US TA teams.
- Use your own judgment on how to best organise, prioritise, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Own multiple requisitions, and balance moving quickly while providing a great candidate experience.
- Evaluate the current hiring process and make changes to streamline and enhance the experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide leadership with industry insights and reporting on metrics that help advise the business on future staffing needs, to ensure TA strategically provides value beyond the transactional nature of hiring.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable years of experience within Talent Acquisition, within the Media and Entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of hiring Creative Executives and Commissioners in Scripted, Film, and Nonfiction content.
- Recognised as an industry expert, with the ability to immerse yourself deeply in the TV content space and build a reputation as a trusted thought leader.
- Extensive experience hiring across EMEA, ideally with a deep understanding of how to nurture passive talent outside of hiring peaks.
- Experience driving inclusive hiring practices and challenging the status quo to promote diverse candidate profiles.
- Ability to embrace the Netflix culture and our valued behaviours, modelling the behaviours we articulate to talent.
- Care deeply about colleagues and prioritize people outcomes alongside business outcomes.
- Self-motivated and driven: able to manage competing priorities, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
- Curious: able to research market trends, domain technology, and seek information to have a solid understanding of the business.
- Excellent communication: constructive, transparent, collaborative, and willing to offer help when others need it.
