The Role
Netflix UK is looking for a Senior Manager, Social Influencers and Creators to join the UK Marketing team. This is a strategic leadership role focused on redefining how we partner with content creators to drive conversation around our title launches, brand campaigns, and broader business initiatives. We aren’t just looking for endorsements. We are looking to build impactful, audience‑first collaborations that feel natural to a creator’s feed and are additive to the Netflix brand. You will act as a key advisor to the marketing team, determining when and how creators should be used as a channel to meet specific business objectives, and then leading the execution of that vision from strategy through delivery.
Our Partnership Philosophy
You understand that the best creator relationships aren’t one‑size‑fits‑all. You will lead a blended strategy that balances paid and unpaid (earned) collaborations. You know how to craft distinctive, “money‑can’t‑buy” experiences, giving creators unique access and opportunities that help them explore new creative directions and reach new audiences. At the same time, you respect the creator economy; you know when to invest in paid partnerships to ensure we are a true partner to the people who make this industry thrive. For you, it’s always about mutual benefit and meaningful value exchange. You have a deep understanding of creator culture and the UK digital ecosystem. You are familiar with the kinds of creators and communities who can elevate our campaigns, from a high‑impact cameo in a culture‑driving moment to a creator who can host a standout interview or on‑the‑ground experience. You are comfortable with creators bringing their authentic voice and style into our collaborations, and you know how to identify partners who can help campaigns achieve significant reach and engagement. A key area for us in this space is sport–whether that’s WWE, live boxing, or a football documentary–so experience and knowledge in that space is a plus. We’re also exploring platforms outside of the core social channels, so experience with platforms like Twitch, Snap and YouTube is valuable.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Act as the internal expert on creator culture. Evaluate marketing briefs to advise if and how creators should be utilised based on audience profiles and campaign objectives.
- Blended Campaign Strategy: Lead the creator strategy for major UK title launches and brand campaigns, navigating the mix of paid ideas and earned/organic opportunities.
- Money Can't Buy Programming: Work with the Events and Publicity teams to design bespoke, access‑driven experiences that make Netflix a preferred partner for the UK’s top creators.
- Paid Opportunities: Manage paid creator campaigns from idea to execution, including fee negotiation and talent relationships. Ensure content remains authentic to the creator and native to the platform while delivering on campaign goals.
- Design Standout Experiences: Develop experiences in the UK that are compelling enough to attract interest from creators globally.
- Cross‑Functional Integration: Serve as a connector between Publicity, Social, Events, Consumer Products, and Marketing Partnerships (among others) to ensure creator work is coordinated and aligned across the business.
- Trend and Insight Development: Maintain a forward‑looking view of the digital landscape. Identify emerging trends and evolving creator behaviours before they become widely adopted, and share insights with the wider team.
- Team Management: Lead and support a small team of experienced Managers as they develop and deliver their own designated projects under your leadership.
- Agency Management: Lead and inspire our external agency partners to deliver innovative work that pushes the boundaries of traditional creator marketing.
Who You Are
- Highly Connected in the Space: You have deep, existing relationships with UK talent agents, creator agencies, and creators, and you are recognised as a trusted collaborator in the UK digital ecosystem.
- Deep Understanding of Online Culture: You have strong knowledge of online culture and the nuances of different social and content platforms, and you understand what captures audience attention and engagement on each.
- Comfortable with Bold Ideas: You recognise that online performance can be unpredictable and are comfortable proposing and owning ambitious, experimental ideas when they are grounded in clear objectives and insights.
- A Strategic Marketer: You can translate high‑level business goals into clear, actionable creator briefs. You understand audience segmentation and how to use data and insight to inform and justify creative choices.
- Creatively Driven: You have a high bar for creative quality. You are passionate about ensuring Netflix collaborations are genuinely entertaining and feel organic to the creator’s platform and audience.
- Effective Cross‑Functional Leader: You are skilled at stakeholder management, able to work across a complex, fast‑paced organisation and bring multiple teams along on a shared strategic direction.
Requirements
Must‑Have Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in creator/influencer marketing, social media strategy, or a closely related field.

- A proven track record of delivering large‑scale, culturally resonant creator campaigns in the UK market.
- Deep expertise in the UK creator landscape, including strong industry relationships.
- Experience in or a strong understanding of the entertainment sector (e.g., TV, Film, Music, Gaming, Theatre, or similar areas where you have learned to engage passionate fandoms).
- Experience managing and developing a team or mentoring colleagues on complex projects.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt your approach for different audiences and stakeholders.
Nice‑to‑Have / Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience or deep knowledge of sports culture and the audiences who engage with it.
- Experience growing or scaling a small team within a larger business.
