We’re seeking someone to work with the Global Product Development and Creative team here in EMEA to set creative direction and drive innovation through the lens of food and beverage to create excellent product merchandise that supports storytelling as it relates to Netflix titles and content. You will work closely with licensees to drive that creativity from concept to production, including product approvals at all stages of execution.
This person understands how to build compelling product ranges by translating core brand attributes into compelling and conversation-driving ranges utilizing style guide creative assets to achieve outstanding assortments.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need:- Be an integral part of the EMEA PDC team covering all product development aspects of the CP business across all local markets.
- Lead the development and execution of Netflix properties in how they turn up across all food and beverage categories.
- Manage freelancers and outside agencies in the development of creative tools, such as mood boards, product mock ups and other needs to assist in driving the creative direction of products from Infant to Adult.
- Partner with licensees to drive innovation and supply feedback from concept to final product approval ensuring brand vision, design quality and product integrity.
- Manage and maintain product approvals in a timely manner through the internal product approval system.
- Build and maintain close relationships with cross functional teams such as Licensing, MSD and Retail Marketing to support overall brand vision.
- Align with key stakeholders across content makers, brand partnerships, BLA, creative marketing and regional marketing teams where applicable to maximize the impact of our strategies.
- 10+ years of experience in directing creative vision for food and beverage product development categories, with either vertical or entertainment/licensed brands or retail.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and bring storytelling and joy into creative execution and product development.
- Ongoing observation and knowledge of food & beverage (F&B) trends and new product development (NPD), and the ability to apply that knowledge to direct brand vision and create compelling products.
- Understanding of the competitive brand and European retail landscape.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with contractors and agencies in soliciting creative projects and deliverables.
- Effective communication skills across formats (e.g., written, visual, and/or verbal).
- Essential project and time management skills.
- EMEA regional experience required and multilingual is advantageous.
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills are a must.
