We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the VP, Head of PSP, Global Affairs at Netflix. This is a senior-facing role supporting complex, cross-functional work across policy, regulatory and government affairs.

The role has two primary areas of focus:

  • Global Affairs (GA) covers Netflix's policy and regulatory work globally.
  • PSP (Policy, Strategy and Planning) is a central global team of policy specialists that provides substantive advice and strategic guidance on Netflix's policy priorities and markets.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and organised, comfortable supporting senior-level, cross-functional work, and able to operate with a good degree of independence in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Calendar and meeting management: Proactively maintain a complex, high-volume calendar across multiple time zones, several weeks to months in advance, including scheduling, rescheduling and confirming internal and external meetings. Coordinate detailed domestic and international travel arrangements, including visa coordination where applicable. Handle expense reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Meeting preparation and follow-up: Support preparation for PSP meetings and leadership sessions, including drafting agenda frameworks and suggesting agenda items where appropriate. Help ensure actions and next steps from meetings are captured and followed up. Support regular check-ins to work through priorities and forward planning.
  • Planning and organisation: Look ahead across the calendar and upcoming priorities, flagging what needs to be prepared and where inputs are required. Help track key deadlines and upcoming deliverables, prompting where preparation is needed. For onsites and team events, take the first pass at structure and logistics, bring the relevant people together and manage coordination from the outset.
  • Communication and coordination: Help ensure that plans, next steps and relevant information are communicated clearly to stakeholders, rather than relying on calendar entries alone. Draft correspondence on behalf of the VP where appropriate. Build familiarity with what is happening across PSP, GA and cross-functional partners to support the work effectively.
  • Documents, presentations and events: Create presentations and documents using Google Workspace. Plan and execute logistics for multi-day, multi-person offsites and events of varying scale. Support team projects and events as needed.
  • Discretion and professionalism: Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and discretion. Partner with HR and cross-functional teams as appropriate. Cultivate relationships within the EA/AA community across the communications and policy organisations.

Core Capabilities

  • 10+ years as an Executive Assistant, with experience supporting at C-Suite level. Equivalent experience (e.g. 5+ years as an EA previously at Netflix) may be considered.
  • Prior experience in entertainment or technology industries is a plus.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, complex environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort drafting correspondence on behalf of a senior leader.
  • Experience maintaining high-volume, complex calendars across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel.
  • An interest in and familiarity with policy, regulatory or government affairs work is helpful, particularly to support meeting preparation.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace: Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides.
  • Discreet, sound judgement and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Responsive across time zones as needed. Some international travel may be required.
