| The Team
The Ads Marketing team shapes our core advertising positioning and drives the go-to-market strategy to bring this positioning to life through compelling, differentiated messaging and narratives. By activating these messages across both sales channels (presentations, materials, talking points, events) and broader non-sales channels, the team builds widespread awareness and excitement among our key advertising partners.

| The Opportunity

This is a 12 month contract reporting to the Senior Ads Marketing Manager EMEA to support the team during a parental leave, to start ASAP. As the Ads Marketing Manager, UK based in London, you will play a crucial role in establishing Netflix Ads in the UK market. You\’ll be responsible for strategising and executing B2B marketing activities that drive brand recognition, align with sales objectives, and resonate with local advertisers. This role requires a proactive, versatile marketer with a firm grasp of the B2B landscape and experience in cross-functional collaboration.

You will also engage in broader business strategies and actively pursue learning and development opportunities, continually growing and evolving as a Netflix marketer and leader.

| Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop Go-to-Market Strategies: Design and craft dynamic go-to-market strategies and narratives that empower the Sales team and resonate with advertising clients. Collaborate closely with the Global Ads Marketing team to ensure alignment with global messaging.
  • Event Strategy & Industry Engagement: Lead Netflix Ads\’ presence at local industry events and custom client engagements, ensuring impactful representation and relevance at each touchpoint.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Communications, Ad Product Marketing, Research, Sales, Partner Marketing, Events and Marketing to maintain a unified ads narrative across all channels and touchpoints, support market launches and foster ongoing growth in the UK.
  • Business Goal Alignment: Synthesise business objectives to define key audiences, optimal channels, and regions to activate, ensuring marketing initiatives align with overarching goals.
  • Data & Insights Analysis: Utilise data insights and new ad solutions to uncover and share compelling B2B stories tailored to the region and UK market, enriching the value proposition for advertising partners.
  • Advertiser Relationships & Insights: Gain a deep understanding of advertiser partners and gather actionable insights that shape both product and marketing strategies, representing partner needs to cross-functional teams.
  • Point of Contact for Trade Bodies: Serve as the main point of contact for activating and managing relationships with local trade bodies, such as the IAB, enhancing industry alignment and fostering credibility.
  • Leadership Updates: Deliver consistent updates to leadership, providing a comprehensive view of successes, challenges, and requests, ensuring transparency and support for the UK market\’s strategic goals.

| Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, digital advertising, or marketing communications.
  • Familiarity with the CTV, OTT, or streaming landscape is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in product positioning, narrative crafting, and collateral development.
  • Skilled in partnering with product and sales teams to shape and communicate product strategy, positioning, and messaging effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and implement creative ideas, collaborate with agencies, and manage multiple projects with precision under tight deadlines.
  • Experience developing a variety of content types-blog posts, case studies, presentations, creative assets, and thought leadership pieces-to advance marketing goals.
  • Proven success in creating impactful B2B event activations, at 1P and 3P events, to support commercial goals.
  • Strong aptitude for working in cross-functional environments, effectively aligning diverse stakeholders and scaling communications.
