About the Team
The Brand Partnerships team collaborates with external partners and internal cross‑functional teams to create compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and innovative solutions. The team works to promote Netflix titles and fuel fandom with creative marketing campaigns that drive conversation and connect fans with the content and IP they love. Following the launch of Netflix with Ads in late 2022, the partnership offering has continued to evolve, creating new opportunities for brands to integrate with our culture‑defining content and provide a best‑in‑class experience for members and ad tier subscribers.
About the Role
You will support the growth and awareness of the Brand Partnerships offering in the UK, building strong relationships with key partners and gaining a deep understanding of their goals, planning processes, creative ambitions, and core equities. Under the guidance of a Senior Brand Partnerships Manager, you will work with strategy, creative and production leads to develop strategic intersections between our titles and brand positioning, overseeing creative ideation and production with agency partners. The role will also support the expansion of the Brand Partnerships offering across Netflix channels such as custom social, events and new ads formats, and will involve building idea‑led partnerships that exist across promotion and media channels.
Key deliverables include building mutually beneficial deals, creating partner presentations, leading discussions and negotiations, managing partner relationships, and working closely with the Ads team to build awareness and partner‑led relationships. You will also coordinate with title marketing, media, publicity and social teams to integrate partnership campaigns into marketing plans and extend them across countries and regions when possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the UK Ads team to engage and build robust, commercially and creatively viable partnership opportunities.
- Own the commercial strategy, pitching and delivery for specific title opportunities for 2027 end‑to‑end with the UK Ads team.
- Collaborate on sponsorship opportunities across the Live programming slate.
- Extract insights from partners to inform the strategic and creative teams, steering vision from beginning to execution.
- Serve as a link between sponsorships, solutions and brand partnerships to develop media‑based creative solutions for partners.
- Coordinate with brand strategy, creative and production to build robust brand partnerships that deliver commercial and conversation marketing results.
- Craft clear and concise commercial packages for partners.
- Draft and negotiate deal memos and contractual promotional agreements.
- Develop memos that articulate clear thinking to inform major decisions or share opinions publicly within Netflix.
- Provide guidance and feedback to brands in a clear and robust manner.
- Educate prospective partners on Netflix’s unique view and approach to brand partnerships and translate goals and ambition to them.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing, negotiating and executing creative, IP‑led entertainment partnerships or brand campaigns.
- Expertise in a fast‑paced commercial environment, balancing commercial and creative decisions.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape, especially across TV and social.
- Experience within a film or TV environment, either directly in entertainment or on the brand side with collaboration in entertainment.
- Clear, articulate writing skills, comfortable crafting narratives and developing points of view amid ambiguity.
- Experience at all stages of marketing campaigns with agencies, from strategy to creative briefs and execution.
- Proven ability to develop and sell custom partnership solutions for owned media channels.
- Strong input on strategy and a clear POV on creative work.
- Passion for building scalable content marketing programs that are unique and innovative.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive results.
