Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in more than 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. The Photo & AV Studio team sits within the marketing organisation and specializes in capturing and creating photo and video assets that shape, enhance and support title campaigns for our Netflix content, including series, films, and documentaries. The team produces content that compels people to watch our shows across multiple channels and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Produce cross‑functional bespoke photography and AV shoots from ideation through to execution and delivery.
  • Develop and execute UK strategy for each project/title to capture, produce and utilize creative material that enhances and supports the title campaign throughout its lifecycle.
  • Oversee photography and AV creative on a slate of projects that include series, films and documentaries.
  • Drive communication with internal UK partners in marketing, social, and publicity, as well as external partners—showrunners, filmmakers, talent and talent representatives.
  • Hire and oversee unit photographers and video crews, including script and schedule review and communication with production.
  • Manage external vendors such as stylists, hair and makeup professionals; arrange partner contracts and permissions.
  • Assist with asset management and servicing of material.
  • Manage title budgets.

Skills & Requirements

  • 8+ years experience working across visual asset production, publishing, marketing, publicity and/or entertainment.
  • Demonstrated solid organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to deliver clear written and verbal communication to internal and external teams.
  • Strong creative eye with a keen understanding of visual storytelling in the service of audience‑first communication strategies.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, think strategically, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with TV/film productions, talent, and filmmakers.
  • Understanding of copyright laws, usage licenses and embargoes.
  • Knowledge of the photography/video industry and strong networks within it.
  • Strong knowledge of creative digital asset formats and asset management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and Pro, is preferred.
