The Role

Based in either our London, Manchester, or Bath office (wherever suits you best), you’ll be the Product Owner aligned to one of our Engineering Departments and helping support anywhere from 2–5 squads.

Day to Day, You'll:

  • Help manage your teams’ backlogs, including prioritisation, refinement, and alignment with the Netcraft Product roadmap.
  • Identify cross‑team dependencies and escalate blockers.
  • Work closely with sales, account teams, and other stakeholders to understand client needs.
  • Represent the needs of customers and stakeholders within the team.
  • Help define and maintain user‑centred product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback and usage data to augment our market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in a mixed sprint and kanban environment to ensure successful delivery.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure roadmap priorities are understood, executed effectively, and delivered on time.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Define and track key product metrics and KPIs.
  • Where necessary, help create wireframes of features/functionality to facilitate internal discussions.
  • Present local team roadmaps to internal audiences.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining marketing collateral with input on product positioning and value articulation.
  • Support compliance with security standards and regulations in product development.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • 5+ years of product ownership experience, with at least 3 years in B2B SaaS.
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management/workflow tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience facilitating effort and duration estimations using various methods.
  • Track record of successful product launches and feature releases.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence without direct authority.

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • A background in the cybersecurity market, especially at a SaaS vendor.
  • Experience helping teams manage R&D workloads alongside conventional software engineering.
  • A technical background with an understanding of SDLC tooling, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and security principles.
  • Experience working with distributed global teams.
