What’s the scope of this role?

As VP Strategic Accounts, you are primarily responsible for leading engagements with existing customers or territory with overall responsibility for customer interaction, revenue growth and differentiating Netcracker from the competition. They will lead the sale of Netcracker products, solutions and services into their given accounts. They will act as the single point of contact to the customer and drive opportunities from lead generation to deal closure. The VP Strategic Accounts is expected to consistently meet or overachieve booking and revenue quotas as assigned by Sales and Business Unit leadership. They will also assist Sales Leadership in providing input to sales goals while collaborating with sales support and other internal departments to ensure the client’s expectations are being met or exceeded.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying, qualifying and advancing opportunities based on their probability and potential value to Netcracker within assigned accounts or territories
  • Proactively identify ways for Netcracker to bring more value to the client through its software, services, and other assets
  • Developing a thorough understanding of a prospect’s or existing client’s short-term and long-term strategic requirements, goals, and challenges while identifying potentially relevant Netcracker solutions
  • Developing and recommending strategic and tactical sales plans for assigned accounts
  • Fully understand the customer\’s business challenges, culture and environment: specifically market trends, future technology, competition and partners that may affect the customer\’s business
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client executives and be viewed as a reliable focal point for business and systems issues
  • Lead the commercial discussions with the customer, in alignment with Netcracker business standards and partnering closely with internal stakeholders as it pertains to all contractual agreements
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales, revenue, and profitability targets identified by Sales Leadership
  • Continuously educate customers on the value and evolution of the Netcracker product portfolio
  • Keeping Netcracker management informed of sales progress using pipeline tools and internal communication methods
  • Developing unique and differentiated value propositions for Netcracker prospects and existing customers
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and other stakeholders to develop successful sales strategies for each opportunity
  • Providing customer and market intelligence back to Sales, Product Management, Operations, IT, and PMO regarding Netcracker strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats based on sales pursuit interactions

Experience and Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry, particularly BSS, OSS or Cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and winning multimillion dollar system integration/technology solution deals and consistently meet or beat sales quotas
  • Ability to build relationships at multiple levels within the client organization
  • Successful examples of full-lifecycle sales experience with complex technical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate win-win agreements with clients
  • Creative “out of the box” thinker that can identify innovative solutions and sales strategies to achieve differentiation for Netcracker
  • Strong bias for action and will aggressively pursue opportunities and navigate external and internal obstacles
  • Ability to analyze data and translate it into professional sales presentations
  • Strong negotiation skills for creating contractual agreements
  • Capable of working in a matrixed corporate environment
  • Strong executive presence
  • Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication skill

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

For how long will we use your Data?

If your application is unsuccessful, unless we have a legitimate reason for retaining the Data for longer, we will retain only limited aspects of your Data for a period of two years after we have communicated our decision to you. We may also retain your application so we can consider you for future roles, if this is acceptable to you. After these periods, we will securely destroy your Data.
